Creating A Google Voice Account
Learn How To Claim A Google Voice Phone Number
Please review the following information to learn how to set up your business Google Voice account and claim a new phone number! This number will be very important as a tool for your KREATIVE marketing technicians.
1. Once you are logged into the Google Voice page (https://voice.google.com/u/0/signup) with your business' Google account (or the Google/Gmail account you set up for your website)...
2. Next, click on the blue "Continue" button.
3. Then, select one of the CITIES (it does not matter which one you pick) and then select a PHONE NUMBER within that city (it also does not matter which number you pick). An example is shown below. Your suggested CITIES and PHONE NUMBERS will vary.
4. Next, you'll see the verification screen. Click the blue "Verify" button. Enter your own personal phone number in the next box. Choose whether you want to receive the 6-digit verification code via a text message or via a phone call. We entered an example phone number below and opted to be contacted via a phone call instead of text. Click "CALL" or "SEND TEXT" to receive the verification code.
5. Lastly, you will receive a phone call or a text message with a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code in the verification box. (We entered an example code below. Yours will be different.) Then click "VERIFY".
6. That's it! You've set up your Google Voice account and claimed a new Google Voice number for your Google business account!
This new Google Voice phone number will be used to verify important accounts for your business, like setting up and verifying your business Twitter account and other important marketing accounts in the future. Thank you for taking the time to view this tutorial!
